We at the Gailer School have secured the visas for two Afghan students to come to the US for their high school education, which they desperately wanted to do in order to be able to return and help create peace in Afghanistan.Working in partnership with HELA, we have two teens studying at Gailer for the next year, with a third student wishing to come in January. We need to raise funds to do this, and have launched a campaign to ask for support. Hopefully some of the people reading this will send contributions to Gailer (www.gailer.org), a listed WE partner. We believe that we can make peace through education, person to person, and that in our school, we can become a vehicle for change.
