We have a crisis of polarization in the US and elsewhere with political logjams that exacerbate economic uncertainty insecurity and inaction. As a result, hunger and poverty are increasing again, wars are still raging and a range of environmental time bombs are ticking even faster. Those who control the most wealth and power are resisting calls for a more equitable system, while many others want fundamental change. We, The World is at a crucial point in our development. We have built up relationships and connections with the worlds largest organizations and networks, as well as thousands of smaller ones. Will you support our Vision (http://we.net/www.WE.net/vision)? This is a moment for everyone to come together to protect children and all families with gun control laws that ban military-style assault weapons, that ban large ammunition clips and that mandate background checks for all gun and ammunition purchases. Obama and many political leaders would like the gun laws to be reformed. Will you take a stand to reduce gun violence? Tell your Congressperson how you feel. Call 1-866-220-0044 today!

After the US elections, lets not make the same mistake as after 2008 - this time lets ORGANIZE! How best can we address continuing economic hardship, social injustice, militarism and the many environmental time bombs that are starting to explode? Many are calling for fundamental change, such as getting big money special interests out of politics. However, I dont believe that can happen with so much fragmentation of those working for peace, justice and sustainability. The goal of We, The World and our WE Campaign is a concerted proactive effort that raises awareness, shifts consciousness and engages the mainstream public in a mass movement for real change. We welcome your comments, participation and your support! http://we.net/donate

Lesson of Superstorm Sandy - Climate Change is just one of many critical issues not being adequately addressed. Our hearts and prayers go out to the millions of people whose lives have been disrupted (and in many cases devastated) because of this gigantic hurricane.
While some scientists say that specific extreme weather events may not necessarily be "caused" by climate change, they do agree that global warming increases the likelihood of super storms "like" this one. Welcome to the future...

Unfortunately, Climate Change is only one of many interconnected crises that challenge all of humanity. And increasingly, people are seeing the danger were in. Our elected officials, corporate CEOs, the mainstream media, and others in power are not sufficiently addressing issues like global economic insecurity, the climate crisis, pollution, escalating militarism, freshwater scarcity, the mass extinction of species, and on and on...

More people than ever before in history are now speaking out to change humanity’s direction from self-destruction to a shared sustainable culture of peace, social justice and environmental stewardship. Connecting and coordinating these voices locally and globally so they can act collectively to create real and lasting change is the challenge of our time, and what the WE Campaign has already begun!
