Lesson of Superstorm Sandy - Climate Change is just one of many critical issues not being adequately addressed. Our hearts and prayers go out to the millions of people whose lives have been disrupted (and in many cases devastated) because of this gigantic hurricane. While some scientists say that specific extreme weather events may not necessarily be "caused" by climate change, they do agree that global warming increases the likelihood of super storms "like" this one.
