Partner Collaborations - It's All About WE!
We have a variety of impactful programs coming up in which working together with our Partners allows each organization to make an even bigger difference in the world than either of us could working alone.
  • Feeding Refugees of the Famine in Somalia and Ethiopia - We, The World is excited to collaborate with the Inspiring Foundation to make a difference in Africa. In 2012 we will raise awareness and support to provide food, water and medicine to families that are fleeing the famine in the Horn of Africa region most affected by the drought. As they walk the 500 treacherous miles to the UN refugee camps in Kenya, thousands are dying, most of whom are children.
  • Utilizing the Power of Music to Inspire Action - Working with Celebrities Against Poverty CAP 2015 and Thought Bubble Concepts, we are planning an ongoing program that enlists celebrity performers to speak out about the crises of poverty, social injustice and environmental degradation through Public Service Announcements, multi-performer videos and live concert appearances that engage youth and inspire everyone to get involved and take action.
  • Ongoing Collaboration with the Society for Ethical Culture - We are planning a series of joint events that inspire, inform and involve people for the betterment of our culture and our world. These events will combine the arts performances, powerful speakers, raising awareness and taking action in critical areas of concern.
  • Make Waves For Change! Global Water Campaign 2012 - Fracking and other pressing water-related issues continue to threaten the well-being of millions of people in the US and around the world. We will be expanding our Awareness and Action Campaign culminating with the UN World Water Day March 22, 2012.
  • 11 Days of Global Unity 2012 - We will continue and expand the global campaign of coalition-building, raising awareness and taking action that so many groups around the world signed up for in 2011. To see the campaign's 11 Action Themes of Social Change go to www.WE.net/11themes. To sign your organization up, go to www.WE.net/11days/participate
  • Collaborations with Long-standing Partners and New Allies - In 2011 the WE Campaign greatly expanded our base of partner organizations and other allies. In the coming year we will continue working with our longtime partners such as Roots & Shoots, Coalition for One Voice, the Communications Coordination Committee for the UN, Friends of the Clearwater, Peaceday TV, Earthdance, Ecofest, United Religions Initiative, Pathways To Peace, the World Peace Prayer Society, 350.org, the Shift Network, Four Years Go, and many others. We will also explore collaborations with new allies such as Oxfam America, Link TV, the Interdependence Movement, Green Festivals and Occupy Wall Street.

With each of the scores of events and programs we produce, promote and co-sponsor each year, we are making a difference now in people's lives. At the same time, we are planning for the future by building international networks of collaboration and action with platforms like 11 Days of Global Unity that amplify the efforts of all our Partners.

If you think organizing for change is more important than ever for us all to have a peaceful sustainable world, will you help WE to continue and expand our efforts? Your support now will make a big difference, on many levels. You can make a secure tax deductible donation at www.WE.net/donate

Thank you so much!
