WE is an initiative of We, The World.

We, The World is a global collaboration of individuals, organizations, coalitions and campaigns to maximize and accelerate social change. With an emphasis on local action/global particiation, We, The World’s programs, initiatives and the WE campaign are designed to be a catalyst for a world that works for all.

Founded in 1998, We, The World is a 501c3 non-profit organization that forms international networks of collaboration. In addition to forming networks, We, The World produces and promotes events and other programs to raise awareness and generate a mass movement of action about critical societal issues such as violence, poverty, and ecological damage.

Our mission is to maximize social change on a global scale. Our programs and events are designed to Inspire, Inform and Involve increasing numbers of people in the growing global movement that has the transformative consciousness of peace and service to people and the planet at its core. The effect of this mass movement of awareness and action is the influence that affects political will and creates a culture of peace and sustainability.

In September 2004, We, The World launched 11 Days of Global Unity Sept 11-21, now an annual worldwide promotion of peace and transformation with more than 700 associated events in over 60 countries around the world.
