Happy and Grateful Fundraising Program
The Happy and Grateful fundraising program is a positive initiative focused on raising funds for nonprofit organizations that are in partnership with WE, The World. The program is up and running on Facebook with the intention of promoting happiness and gratitude while contributing to a greater collective purpose. Each nonprofit will design their own Happy and Grateful memes to post on the Happy and Grateful site. These memes will be shared within each nonprofit organization, creating a ripple effect and enticing donors to their specific causes.
There will be:
Meme Design Guidelines: Establishing guidelines for creating Happy and Grateful memes will ensure that the memes align with the positive and grateful theme. Every nonprofit will incorporate their own logos on their memes.
Collaboration Among Nonprofits: The nonprofits will be reaching out to their followers and board members enticing them to create and share memes. Encourage collaboration among participating nonprofits. Provide a platform or shared space where organizations can exchange ideas, share resources, and collaborate on meme designs. Every nonprofit customizes memes to highlight their unique causes and initiatives. This customization could involve adding organization-specific details, impact statistics, or images related to their projects.
Sharing Platform: Once the memes are created, they will be placed on the Happy and Grateful website, and each nonprofit can reach out to their members to share and comment on.
Social Media Integration: We will encourage nonprofits to share their memes on their respective social media channels as well. Provide shareable links or buttons on the Happy and Grateful site to facilitate easy sharing across various platforms.
Promotion and Hashtags: There will be a campaign-specific hashtag (e.g., #HappyAndGrateful #WEareHappyandGrateful) to unify the memes and track their impact on social media. Encourage nonprofits to use this hashtag when posting their memes to amplify the campaign’s reach.
Community Engagement: Once the memes are getting attention, then the board members of each nonprofit can create contests or challenges that incentivize individuals to share memes, engage with the campaign, and donate to the cause. Nonprofits take 90% and will give 10% of the donations to WE, The World.
